FANUC America is currently searching for an Oracle Applications Techno-Functional Architect to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL.

As an Oracle applications techno-functional architect, you will be primarily focused on designing and supporting the business applications driving the FANUC business. Responsibilities for this role include providing functional and technical leadership for the global Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP/CRM environment as well as related 3rd-party applications. This role is responsible for consulting with our business groups, gathering and defining requirements, gap analysis and design, architecting solutions, configuration of application modules, development, testing, and issue resolution.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide functional/technical leadership for implementing, supporting, and enhancing the Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP/CRM environments and integrated 3rd-party applications
  • Plan the integration of new applications into existing systems and software
  • Design application specifications and perform required setups based upon business requirements
  • Support Oracle applications functionally as an expert in business process
  • Develop functional design specifications, create test plans, and conduct pre-UAT testing
  • Software design focused on reports, interfaces, conversions, workflow, extensions, portal applications, and mobile apps
  • Design of BI Reports (Pre-defined and Ad-hoc), Dashboards, and KPIs
  • Provide inputs regarding patch/release planning
  • Ensure compliance to enterprise standards and procedures for technical work products
  • Time will be distributed 40% functionally and 60% technically

 

KNOWLEDGE:

This role requires strong functional and technical competency in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 in at least two of the four below tracks:

  • Financials:

Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.

  • Sales:

TeleSales, Field Sales, Quoting, Proposals, Order Management, and Advanced Pricing.

  • Service:

TeleService, Field Service, Depot Repair, Service Contracts, and Field Sales

  • Supply Chain:

Purchasing, Inventory, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Demantra

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • 3+ years of experience directly with Oracle EBS R12
  • Expert in development of Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Workflow
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, HTML, and JSP
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle configurations/setups for EBS R12
  • Experience extending or modifying EBS application modules per Oracle’s recommended standards
  • Strong understanding of Oracle support processes and resources
  • Technical leadership with proven ability to organize and lead issue resolution
  • Experience with Noetix as an end-user reporting environment
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational databases (Oracle and Microsoft SQL)
  • Experience with Kewill for transportation management
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
